dataSpring announced today its acquisition by INTAGE HOLDINGS, Inc. as part of its plan to achieve an industry-standard platform with new and exciting products, and pursue excellence as the number one Asian sample provider. Marketing Applications Inc., the company that previously owned dataSpring, has agreed to transfer 100% of its shares to INTAGE HOLDINGS, Inc.

dataSpring has a proud history that started in 2009, when the company, formerly named Research Panel Asia (RPA), started offering Japan panels to global markets. It is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and offers reliable solutions for market researchers, including online and mobile sample in Asia, survey software tools, and 24/7 data collection operations. In 2015, Research Panel Asia was acquired by Marketing Applications Inc. in a stock swap, and the company was renamed dataSpring. Under the new partnership with INTAGE, dataSpring will provide support through its valuable assets, people, and customer contacts. The acquisition will fully take effect in February 2020.
